On April 14th Ngati Hikitanga Te Paea held Their Seventh Hui

This time we returned to our Whare that is situated near the Ohau River.

Wwe visited a site of interest several of our members travelled in the hired van, later those that were visiting a site that was further away and harder to access changed to a 4x4 vehicle, courtesy of our legal Representative who was in attendance.

On return to the Hui Marquee Mr Edward Penetito was invited to say the Karakia before we proceeded to partake in lunch, followed by our Lawyer all the way from Te Puke Mr Mark McGhie providing the update on the Waitangi Tribunal Claim procedure.

We thank those that attended. From the Tumatanui Cluster Group of which Hikitanga Te Paea is a Member. I take this opportunity to thank those of our attendees that are not in good health for making the effort To come , for I know personally and I appreciate You all, from Helensville, Te Puke to Upperhutt and those from in between,I also thank our Ringawera For their assistance as well as Mr Rex Field who has worked tirelessly over the years.
